Again, you toss out "self-aware" as if there is some measurable criteria to which science has made an objective verification. There is not. A pre-born child is fully self-aware, with a fully functional mind. All that is missing is experience and lesson. Just because your simple mind can not grasp the complexities of newborn thought processes, does not mean that they do not exist.

You are a disciple of Pete Singer (even if unknowingly). Singer is the strongest advocate for "self-awareness" as the criteria for "life". Singer cleverly hides behind "science" as he advocates infanticide, beastiality, and involuntary euthenasia, and then, to illustrate the absurdity of his reasoning, he eschews vegetarianism. Having equated babies and invalids with mice, he advocates killing them, and then issues a moral imperative to not kill animals. BTW: I use quotes around science, because Singer offers no real scientific merit to his "science", only philosophical presuppositions, and illogical absurdities. In short, he is a fool, as are you for blindly spewing such unscientific nonsense.
