Ted, <Powell is stating to Congress that that message provides proof of his claim of a link between Saddam and OBL. They must think we just fell off the hay cart.>
Well at least you cannot deny the strong links between Saddam and Palestinian terrorists like Hamas.

It seems to me that an "axis of evil" is forming between Saddam, Hamas, and Al Qaeda. Wouldn't you agree, or would you continue to assume that all three threats are independent?

That's want they want you to think....based on innuedo, you are expected to believe that an axis of evil is developing among the three.

And I am not saying there is no connection. I don't know and apparently neither does the Bush administration.......but they want us, the American public, to forget that small detail and instead put together the dots so that they have our support in going to war. That's what's so disturbing.

Or maybe you're assuming that it's Bush that's bringing them all together (which itself is a rather poor excuse for inaction).

Unfortunately, it does seem to be uniting them against a common foe.......certainly, if that tape is real, OBL is playing to the crowd [the Iraqi people]. Uniting them would be our worse nightmare.
