I have that same fear with the slow methodical troop buildup. We should have stoked Iraq up when OBL was on the run. Too much time was wasted with diplomacy and now I fear our troops are sitting ducks in the region. Iraq has too much oil for us to nuke but Iran doesn't. If Iran decides to join in I would eliminate Tehran with the press of a button.

first of all... how convenient that this tape has shown in the "right" moment to get American (and world) public opinion in our favor... what timing ! who is playing who ? The only logical explanation as for the "troop build up" and the "playing cat and mouse" is because the US needed the UN support to do what they should have done 12 years ago... and using the pretext of the terrorist war... As we know a war against terrorist can not be a conventional war... much like a war against guerrillas has to be fought differently.... So we part from different points of view as far as the reasons why attack iraq... this cat and mouse thing that the US has been forced into originates in the fundamental error of not having destroyed Saddam when we could have... the reason given as for the "deal made" being the promise that Saddam would do this or that according to the toilet paper resolution # 3546453534425355342535353464647857 is pure bullshit... why did we have to give in anything when we had the idiot by the balls. The real reason for this will go a long way in explaining how come we are now in such a bind ... and worse, without support. Where I believe that we have to neutralize any potential WMDs, I am having second thoughts about doing what our enemy (OBL) wants us to do. Doesn't Sun Tzu have something to say on that topic?
