However, I do support the congressional investigation of the events leading up to September 11, 2001. A rigorous investigation is required to identify our failings.
I'll agree with that. I think.

A complete and thorough investigation of and accounting for the failures allowing the attack at Pearl Harbor to happen with proper warning would have required disclosure of Ultra- -the fact the the US had broken and was reading the Japan's diplomatic and naval codes.

Reading those codes was undoubtedly the largest single contribution to the US victory at Midway- -the decisive battle of the Pacific war.

How many hundreds of thousands of American lives are you and Shiloh willing to sacrifice for your investigation? Because had Japan known we were reading those codes, they would have fixed that, taken Midway, and then taken Hawaii. Is this worth an entire state? (Territory at that time.)

If there was some doubt about the crash, there would be one. Since there is none to speak of, there will not be one.

I must respectfully point out that there is a great deal of doubt about the crash.

The NTBS, which is charged with investigating every aviation crash, was not allowed to investigate 911, instead being assigned to assist the FBI.

Why would an exception be made for these crashes?
