That is a personal insult.
Not unless you're that person...

Law of averages says that now, or sometime in the past, it's probably true. (I'm sure it is for the UK, and indeed any other state, country or region). Get the point? Other people's criminal behaviour doesn't justify yours. Simple.

yet it seems to escape you as you justify your behaviour in terms of (long-)past British Empire behaviour...
