"without which information no questions of 'fairness' can be answered" You're definately not as smart as I thought you were. All you need to know for fairness is the tax rate table. The lowest income brackets pay ZERO percent and the highest pays 36%. When it is the same for all wage earners, then it will be fair. As it is, it is not fair towards the wealthy. They aren't complaining, and I am ok with a sliding scale too. Its just the pinheads like you that say the wealthy are the one's getting all the breaks, and the people paying a lower percentage are getting jobed.
