I was away for a bit but in short France talked down to the US as if addressing a child. Commentators jumped on that obvious fact.
Great Britain perpetuated their routine position.
Right now, Colin Powell is talking and is obviously pissed off and talking very strongly and aggressively about the fact that Iraq is guilty and lets stop pussy footing. Also, he bit Frances a*s and mentioned that the US was the worlds oldest democracy. :o).
His talk continues and unfortunately I must leave for the rest of the day.

I'm listening to Powell speak right now....the anger of last week seems to be gone, replaced by frustration with the UN.

Regardless of weather you think we should go to war, the UN has clearly been discredited. Any reading of Resolution 1441 shows that Iraq is in "material breech" of that resolution. Of course, the fact that this was their "last chance" doesnt seem to matter to the French.

I have never been an isolationist....but the last three months might drive me to it.
