your logic is flawed

America changes its standards based on its desires. Why attack Iraq and not Israel? Why support use of weapons of mass destruction at some times and not others. It is called integrity.

The USA is using propaganda to confuse its citizens. The USA is trying to split hairs - why this huge focus on Iraq. The USA is in no danger from Iraq, your own CIA confirms this.

Should we not be friendly with German and Japan because we fought bloody wars with them earlier this century?

I believe the point is that the very GUY the US supported (not only holding his hand, but with weapons etc) is the one they are attacking on the basis of him being "evil".

If Hitler were still alive and if the US got friendly with him, the same criticism would surely apply. As it is, Germany has a different ideology now, and is run by completely different people. So it's OK to be friendly from an "integrity" point of view.

but you're unsurprisingly leaving out the volume of other evidence against Iraq

Like what, exactly?
