This coming Monday is Presidents Day, and interestingly the stock market has had a strong tendency to close lower on the day immediately preceding this holiday. In fact, over the past eleven years, the S&P has closed lower on the day before Presidents Day in every case, which is in stark contrast to the traditional 'pre-holiday' rally that accompanies most stock market holidays...
