At the darkest hour you won't have 50 % of US households invested in stocks. You would be scared to buy stocks and your family members would think of having you committed if
you told them you were planning to buy stocks. We are very
far away from sentiment/valuations that accompany genuine
market troughs.

Lizzie: that's good news...Some companies are doing better here in the Midwest too -- I'm also hearing of increased hiring in some emerging growth companies.
