"a million martyrs will march to Jerusalem", and "jihad, jihad, jihad" in Arabic.

"Jihad" is not exactly a word anglophones do not understand, Nadine.

As for the million martyrs bit, we went over this before. It does not necessarily mean "suicide bombers". I told you about how "martyr" means anyone who has died in war, even soldiers who die in military service in peacetime, and you did not believe me.

I could tell you of soldiers dying of some stupidity (shooting themselves or something) in peace time and then returning home with their coffin wrapped in the national flag, accompanied by army personnel in full uniforms, called martyrs in the speeches of honor before burial. But I do not think you would believe that, either.
