The WMD option may show its nasty head. It will be dealt with in kind. Like a bad actor in a two-bit-play. The damage will be contained to Iraq and not on sovereign soil. The bulk of it expended. Forgive those of the kantian myth. Total war is now the only path to preserve freedom.
