I guess I must know virtually nothing about Catholicism, either, but my perception is that the Catholic religious heirarchy doesn't contain any females. There are priests, bishops, cardinals, and the Pope, to simplify -- all male -- and there are nuns but they are not part of the heirarchy -- no women in the heirarchy, except in the laity.

Thomas A Watson, why dont you answer my simple question "When was a Pope a female" ? Could you try to avoid all the BS you are spreading around the question ? And please don't pretend to preach me on Catholicism, I was born catholic many years ago.
