I don't see the Iraqi situation as a response to 9-11. After all, that was mostly Saudis involved.

Iraq is quite a different thing.

I would like to know why the anti-war position always looks like this? It seems to lack legitimacy. I agree that the other side is pulling in all kinds of illegitimate issues, such as OBL to bolster their side as well. But this is too important to allow it to broil in petty partisan squables.

Our country's leaders have made it clear that the intent is to remove Saddam Hussein and his regime from power in an effort to liberate the people of the region and support them in establishing self government. We are not targeting the people of Iraq or the country of Iraq at this point.
