JW, I read your article again, my question still stands.

You name the pressures forcing people out of fiat,
You name the sources of the money that will flow,
But you do not name the forces which guide them to gold instead of into other things.

Also, the fact that you do not clearly describe a mechanism for many of your assertions, the fact that you use arguments that conflict or undermine one another, hurts your thesis to some degree.

That's all I ever said. That's all I'm saying now. I did not ask you to reiterate your article. I am honestly curious about some things. You don't seem to respond well to anything but uncritical acceptance of every point.

One more thing:

<<but being mocked or disliked or criticized or insulted never bothers me>>
I am glad you can take as good as you dish out, JW, but I am not mocking you. When I thanked you for what you did, I meant it, and still do. I have been reading your posts for almost a year now and I count you as one of the smart guys, one of the good guys.

You may not think much of me, and why should you? What have I really done for you or any of the people on this thread? That's OK, I respect what you're trying to do, and appreciate it. Remember that the next time you are deciding what to say.
