I was afraid it was going to degenerate into conversion posts. I probably felt that way because you are so serious about things. I tend to lay back. I will get combative about points for the fun of arguing, but I know I am not going to change anybody's mind, and that nobody in the world really gives a damn what I think. When you get to be an old coot, you learn to relax and just enjoy discourse without getting too serious about it.

I don't have a clue as to why anyone is offended by discussions that touch on personal beliefs. If someone has no belief in God, Thomas.. no one's saying they're offended by discussions of God.. But this is NOT the thread to conduct them on.. That, I believe is Lindy's point, AS WELL AS MINE... Discussions of religion are only appropriate on this thread when they involve foreign policy decisions... I'm sure this is "crystal", and I won't need to say anything else about the topic, right??
