If they are correct that there is no room for anyone to change their minds, the right strategy would be to put forward a 'material breech' and 'serious consequence' resolution at the UNSC. Force the veto. It sounds like Blair needs the political cover and I think France using the veto would actually build support for the war in the US. Paul
