I'm still considering the implications of keeping Iraq's oil off the market. Consider Iraq's production, measured against its capability, has been limited throughout the eight year war with Iran and the 12-year sanctions period following the Gulf War.

Throughout this time oil investments have been set up in other areas of the globe. By controlling Iraq's oil, those investments could come into fruition, i.e., be exploited, and then a whole new spicket would open up down the road for whomever controls Iraq's oil riches.

I'm not entirely sold on the idea, but I am considering this. Let me know what you think? Thanks!
