Yes Ram, you were correct in your assumption that the system would be applicable to the Tyco requirements, although this product apparently represents a technology adaptable to several major industries, and that's great. Things are getting interesting now. Wonder what the maximum energy available in one package will be? The PR mentions megawatts, although I imagine that will take quite a few Po4wer untis.

Our man Godevais seems to be taking a macro view of the energy storage business and focusing on where the opportunities are, as opposed to only concentrating on the PC or hand held device business, and I agree with that. The smaller stuff will most likely be handled by the Asian licensees going forward, while NI will be producing the large-format cells. I wonder if the packaging of the Po4wer products will also be done in Mexico, considering they include microprocessors and probably other circuitry such as chargers?
