"So you would ignore the cruelty dictators impose on
their people?
How would you stop them?"

Turkmenistan has a cruel and evil dictator, horrors are occuring in African countries. Those don't concern you. My goodness!!!! But wait, the US is denying medical aid to Iraqi citizens. Not very humanitarian that.

>>> If Saddam went into exile there would be no war.<<<

Had the state of Florida completed its recount, there might not be even the threat of this war, and, who knows, perhaps Saddam would be helping us to catch Al Qaeda. And some even argue 9/11 would not have happened under Gore.

>>>If we do nothing, the Iraqi people will continue to suffer and probably Israel.<<<

America's long history has been to do nothing when it came to dictators. Are you sure Saddam couldn't have been negotiated out of Kuwait? As I recall, there was a plan on the table he was ready to accept. But by that time, Bush the elder would have nothing of it. Besides, America got to test out some new military equipment during that war. Israel can much improve its position by a significant change in attitude, like not bulldozing the homes of Palestinians and by not continuing to settle in sensitive land areas ... and much more.

>>>Was it necessary to drop bombs on Germany in WW2?<<<

We were late to the table on that one. That was a defensive war, considered by most of humanity as a just war. Much different than what we're seeing today. The people marching in the streets are but a small sign of the actual truth here.

>>>So you would ignore the cruelty dictators impose on
their people?<<<

Are you talking about America's dictators (see google: dictator trading cards) or some other nation's dictators? Please qualify.

>>>How would you stop them?<<<

Well, a good beginning would be to look at how America has behaved and scoffed at some of the work of the United Nations, whether conferences on environment or conferences on racism, whether conferences on disarmament, etc.
