Saddam’s game is up-- We say, “You are charged with war crimes by the world court—you are surrounded by the worlds might—come out with your hands up”. Should there be resistance, we deal with it on a case by case situation. No need to “Level Baghdad” when it is only a rural missile outpost or two that fires a defensive round. Then we look where we want at what we want in Iraq until all catches of banned war toys are exposed. (Holding up the odd cylinder, proclaiming a “smoking gun”) --Now we have GWB Jr’s Dad avenged, -- Iraq’s massive oil fields to divvy up between Britain & US, (Spoils to France and Germany etc–allies damage control) --A new regime for the Iraqi people can be formed (By the UN of course) --Saved billions in inactivated bombs & personnel (Use the money for implements of Mass Construction) --Shown we value the lives of the Iraqi people (Liberation Day?) --Saved a little face in the worlds eye by our forceful diplomacy without bloodshed (Some Might Is Right) --Hindered links between Iraq and Al-Qaeda --Our economy and affairs at home can get some attention --North Korea, India/Pakistan etc. might get dealt with more earnestly --And all the hundred other things you can think of... In fact I can actually picture Bush with his big Texas ten gallon hat on while standing outside of Hussein’s Temple house holding up the megaphone and calling out, as only George can do, “NOW YOU LISTEN-UP SADDAM, GOT YA SURROUNDED, DROP YOUR WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION--OR ANY SWORDS YOU MAY HAVE CONCELED—AND COME OUT WHERE I CAN SEE YOUR HANDS”
