<<Perhaps for an investor for instance, or maybe only American investors... or other groups attached to certain outcomes things might appear particularly 'dark'? Globalism??>>

IMO long term investing is dead for a time being. All what is holding the markets from the total meltdown is a speculative nature of investors and knowledge of that nature hold by the biggest holders. In the same time capitalism cannot take the destructive course what tells me the patient will be hold on life support system, once in a while given dose of dope to keep the smile.
Looking at the die hard bulls like Mq who are jumping from one fallen hero (AG) to another who according to all signs in Heaven and Earth will fall really hard (GWB) gives me the comfortable feeling of locking the profits from the gambling table into hard assets.
