Your response is focused on the UN and it's role or legitimacy. I can see where my comments may have provoked that or at least not disabused you of that angle. To clarify, what is arrogant is dismissing the POV of our fellow countries whether they're expressing their opinions collectively in the UN or individually. We're saying that we, in our infinite wisdom, know better than everybody else. That's arrogant. My point is not that you can't reasonably conclude that it would be better if we were arrogant than a victim of Saddam, only that you can't deny that it's arrogant.
