>I also recognized that the economic boom was a result of factors that had nothing to do with Clinton. Just as the Bush 41 recession was not about Bush. And the Bush 43 recession is not about Bush.

So all recessions happen during Republican administrations, but they're the fault of the Democrats, and all the good times happen during the Democratic administrations, but they're due to the Republicans. Makes sense.

I'd beg to differ... the economy is fiercely dependent on the way people feel about it... one of the great paradoxes. People felt good during the Clinton era. Well, maybe you didn't.

I didn't. I was fully cognizant of the foreign policy crises developing under the Clinton administration (not really true -- I thought NK was "contained"). But I realized the mess he was leaving us with.

Right! You were fully cognizant of nada! If you were, you would be shaky in your boots when it comes to the current economy which is going to hell in a handbasket real fast. Your cognizance is a purely partisan motivated activity that has little,if anything, to do with reality.

And just remember.....you heard it here.....its the economy, stupid! You Reps. just can't seem to learn that lesson.
