And if the war happens and it goes well, these folks will forget they demonstrated in the first place.

Who really knows, Mike. My own guess is that Bush has handled the public diplomacy part of this one so badly that, whatever happens in Iraq, his public support will be more questionable than before.

I've often said I think there is a house of cards here. When the key one tumbles, they'll all come down. I don't think this one is a key one but it's fairly close to it.
