(I am too cheap to buy it, but it's available to me for free at work.) Let's do the math here: Flu shot: $100 max. That assumes an appt with a doc just to get it. Lost time: 5 days @ $2000-$5000/day = $10,000-$25000 for a bigtime legal eagle. Net profit (loss): ($9,900) to ($24,900) I am sitting at my desk, sipping Wild Berry Zinger Herb Tea, which a good friend sent to me yesterday as a tonic for sore throats. So far it works. Another victory for the placebo effect. :-) Hey, SuperHawk, why don't you trot over to the Don't Start The War thread and kick some butt. I think we're losing. I'm about to pull out and leave it to the flower children.

Wild Berry Zinger, huh? That stuff tastes just like raspberry Jell-o. No wonder you like it. :-) It's great as iced tea as well, BTW. I think you should change your name to "Original Mangy Dog" if you lose any more weight. It's in the 40's here today, so the snow is melting and compacting. My husband's truck got stuck in the driveway on the way to work this morning. Both his rear wheels and the invectives were spinning fast and furious. He had two of our dogs sitting next to him in the cab of the truck. Their ears were plastered down as though they were thinking "What the heck is going on? Let me outta here!"
