Say what you like about the French... I think they say enough themselves. When a senior French representative to an international security conference in all seriousness argues that "US policy in the Middle East was driven by a White House plan to solidify support within the Christian right and the Jewish community by moving large numbers of American Jews to West Bank settlements in order to begin to fulfill the prophesies of the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelations," I need add nothing to support the conclusion that they've gone nuts. The French might as well have craig crawford making their foreign policy.
