Nukes are only one of the many weapons. I was thinking more about smallpox, anthrax, and the various gases that are highly toxic and deadly. Apparently, enough gas to kill 100,000 people can be fit into a small vessel and transported in a suitcase.

Ricin is a chemical that is incredibly deadly..............a few molecules are fatal. I used ricin on mice once..................the stuff is scary. The mice were dead before I was finished with their injection. I believe it can absorb through the skin.............the rest is up to your imagination.

SOme time ago I read an article and posted it here on SI ( Bush thread ). It talked about a toxic dump on an island that was used for their biochemical weapons . Although it had been protected in the past, the Russians couldn't afford to keep up the security.

Many of the bacterial agents that were listed earlier are spore formers..............the spores can live quite a while. Virus's are different and don't remain viable indefinitely.Usually it's a short length of time for virus's.

Frankly, Saddam can't launch a nuke either. Not with ICBM capability.
