It's still not anti-Americanism. It's anti-Bush and you know it. WE were loved, loved, the outpouring of genuine love and concern for this country after 9/11 was NOT bs as you suggest. What happened to that? Bush and his warmachine. Not the American people. Just as most people in this country know the IRaqi people are not our enemies...IT'S their leader, Saddam.

Karen,

Yes, it is anti-Bush. Before that it was anti-Clinton. Before that it was anti-Bush. Before that it was anti-Reagan.

America has the cookie jar and the best toys and the rest of the children resent it. They don't want to do the work to get the best toys and cookies, they just want to knock America down. Besides, the kids in Africa don't have any cookies.

Paul

karen,
We were pitied, not loved by the europeans, who erroneously thought we would join their club of inaction, anti semitism and appeasement. US came out swinging instead. Squandering pity for respect is not a bad thing. The Iraq mission will set an example to the other arab states tempted to go the wmd/terror route. The NK crisis will be settled peacefully as well imo. There will be casualties in Iraq but they will not be nearly as high as you anticipate unless saddam uses his wmds. Odds are with us, but yes Karen there is danger in action but there is a far greater danger in inaction. Mike

I would rather be respected and alive, then loved and dead.
