Put me in the nonthinking category, Dave.

Well, if you insist <g>...

So you actually think there is some question as to whether Saddam has violated the terms of the ceasefire agreement (which includes the last 17 UN resolutions)? And even though we KNOW with certainty that he had these stores of chemical and biological materials, that he cannot produce a shred of evidence indicating he destroyed them, you would suggest that he may not have them anymore?

We need to keep in mind that he was required, under international law, to document ANY destruction of banned weapons. So even if we naively assume that he destroyed the banned weapons but can't prove it, he is guilty.

OJ Simpson's guilt was no more obvious.

But if you can't see it, well, I guess that's okay. We'll just need to go kick his butt anyway...
Even the French and Germans have admitted this much.

PS Will you believe it if he, as was suggested (tonight on 60 Minutes) by a nuclear weapons builder of his who escaped during the Gulf War, deploys a "chemical belt" around Baghdad during the war?

I just want some of the liberals on this thread to be around after the war so the rest of us can say, "I told you so" while you guys say, "Yes, I was sooooo wrong. What idiots we were" <g>... Any chance of that?
