China has no desire to become a world power, as I have said before. If in fact it becomes one, say after another 50 years, then it is the by-product of the desire to live a better life.

Mike, personally, I am not afraid for Japan to have nuclear weapons because I don't think they would use it. And I never hold the younger Japanese responsible for their older generation's crime in China. So I come to terms with Japan.
