Their job is to inventory WMD and then destroy them.

I agree with this statement. Who is supposed to supply the WMD for them to inventory and destroy?

They search for WMD based on information they have from intelligence and other sources.

As of 1998, UN inspectors had destroyed 96% of Iraq's WMD.

Assuming your numbers are correct, are you saying that the remaining 4% isn't enough to worry about?

Where did I say that?

Are you guaranteeing that all of the WMD's were found prior to 1998, and no additional WMD's have been made?
No guarantees. Can you guarantee that we will take Saddam out and there will not repercussions to Americans and American territory?

How do you know this?

What? You were assuming I would give you a guarantee? You know what they say about assuming..... <g>

My point, which you apparently completely miss, is that disarmament can only truly work one of two ways. Peacefully if Iraq voluntarily disarms, or violently with military troops (if Iraq chooses not to disarm). You seem to think there is some middle ground, and there simply isn't.

You don't see a middle ground but I do.

Stringing it out only allows Iraq more time to prepare more WMD either for use or for sale.

Doesn't that assume they have a lot of WMD? How do you know that?

But feel free to disagree. That is one of the luxuries we have here.

I like posting with you......you're always so generous; allowing me to disagree! Thank you! ;~))
