There is nothing unprevoked about attacking Iraq... this is a resumption of the Gulf War of 12 years ago, a cease fire was agreed upon when Sadam Insane promised to comply with the agreements imposed... he has violated every single one of them, this is an enforcement action, much like placing under arrest a criminal who violated the conditions of his release... GZ

The Gulf War was about liberating Kuwait, not making America safer. Did we have interests to secure in Kuwait - sure, but more than that, it was a humanitarian effort to suppress the expansion of an evil empire. You noticed how many muslim countries came running in to help Iraq fight the evil Americans didn't you? Moving right along... So, you think that you would sleep better knowing that Iraq has CBR weapons and would support terrorism (as they have done in the past) by offering those weapons to terrorist organizations to use against INNOCENT Americans. You want to bet your family on that? What if those jetliners that brought down the twin towers were filled with nerve agents? Next... People (other nations) already hate us. Hell, I'm all for bringing back all troops, closing all embassies, stopping foreign aid, reclaiming all debts owed to us, and building The Great North and South Walls of America. Screw em' - Do you know what would happen if we did this????? Do you know how many more wars would be started???? Do you know how many countries would completely fold???? Do you know who they would blame FIRST for their demise???? Do you know who they'd come BEGGING to for relief???? This world would be a total mess.
