And reports now make it sound like both the band and the club were at fault. When was done there was stupid and reckless. Period. When that is true and people are killed, it's manslaughter. So both the club managers and the ban could be charged.

I can't buy your theory that this is just an awful totally accidental happening and no one should be punished. One of the major purposes of punishment is deterrence. You can bet that if the management and band do 10 years in the slammer, every other club owner and band in the state will make sure there are no repeats of this for many years.
