According to Yiwu, in the Chinese version, Tibet had a feudal system, which treated the majority of the population as serfs or slaves.

I believe it. They had a state oracle too. The place was thoroughly medieval.

Listen, it's not news that the Chinese think about the Tibetans as 19th century Americans thought about the Sioux.

Coby, Here is an old 3-part article in case you have not read it.
theatlantic.com

And please do not quote any part of the article back to me, since I do not agree with a lot of what he said. Having said that, this article, at least, tell both sides of stories. It will be up to your own judgement to decide which side is more true. And one thing for sure, the future of Tibet will be decided solely by the Chinese, including both Han ethnic group and Tibetans who are currently living in Tibet, as well as the Chinese Gov. Any other outside force has no business to do with Tibet.

My POV has been posted here multiple times. So please don't make me sound like a broken record. And in case someone still want to ask me about Tibet, here is a site (yes, it is Chinese gov. sponsored), which fully represent my POV.
tibetinfor.com.cn

so happy reading, if you care.
