Hi Cary,

Alot of issues:

Object of Afganistan was eliminate the Taliban no one could positively say OSBL was there - so it was not the target. However his Organization has been substantially impaired.I'd say the Taliban were quickly and successfully un-empowered - Remember it was feared to be another VietNam.Not even close to reality.

The "globe" discounts an unacceptable level of violence implemented by people who have nothing to lose.Only jealousy at the world's constructive evolution of our modern day without them in power is fueling their sick minds.Jealousy is a disease of the insecure - thusly they hide and attack the innocent.By the way where is Osama - I'd say hiding.

The breeding grounds in Afghanistan have not brought much violence since we ran off the Taliban and you don't see the oppressed in Kuwait or Afghanistan protesting our liberating forces do you.I'd say to those who have suffered - American forces are quite well recieved.Probably fewer deaths than in our citiies.

If we wanted oil fields - truth be known, we already have them. We're in the oil fields of Kuwait right now.The fact that Kuwait doesn't call us conquerors or Afganistan either, speaks volumes about our good natured sense of fairness.

Those who so eloquently talk of peace do not want to upset the financial relationships they have with the solely (stolen)owned wealth of Saddam.

France is one of the most inefficient mfrs in the Euro. This inefficiency is subsidized by pimp like financial ties with a tyrant - Saddam.

They don't want there little honey hole going away - that would force them to be competitive instead of "social lovers".Work and competition scares the heck out of them.

Their attitude towards freedom - without financial ties,as in Iraq, isn't quite a altruistic when you view their track record in Africa.

The U.S. is on the high ground and it needs to pave the way for all global residents being able to enjoy freedon from oppression and experience the inalienable rights we all too often assume exists in other places.

JMHO
