Do you understand why he took the conservative one?

My conservatism is very much like liberalism with good sense thrown in where it is needed. National defense, the war on terror, and a conservative Court are just good sense. A liberal Court is an activist Court, and over time, the activism is going to establish new law in favor of criminals and the people who are on the wrong sides of the issues.

Really working hard to recruit Z to the conservative cause.......it would be funny if it weren't real.

As for you being a liberal, I've told you before don't sully a good name.

Fiscal responsibility is an outgrowth of conservative principles, not liberal ones. The fundamental precepts of liberalism are contrary to fiscal responsibility in my view.

Yes, as budgets go unbalanced, deficits pile up and the economy enters the second phase of a double digit recession. Fiscal responsibility a conservative thing? Only in your dreams?
