Probably a problem with your firewall. You need to see how you can except certain cites from being blocked or using scripts.

Symantec Firewall may be the problem

If you're using Symantec Firewall, disable the Firewall and then try to load Streamer. My Symantec refuses to accept inputs from sites starting with Amer---such as Ameritrade, American Express, American Funds. I've complained to Symantec with no results. After Streamer is loaded, it is possible to restore Firewall.
