Kurds, Iranians, Iraqis -- war. Both Iraq and the Iranians used the poisons. Further, how do you reconcile when this was happening and after this happened, the US maintained a cozyness with Saddam? If what you're alleging is true perhaps the proper time for action would have been then.

Look, do the simple math, Tom. Bush has a tough economy, a bad tax cut, failure to bring OBL to justice and oil problems. When you add it all together any one of these single issues is enough to defeat his chances for reelection. But when you add them together, there suddenly becomes this tremendous need to make Saddam Hussein the bogeyman.

Were Bush sincere in what he's attempting to do, he would have first put forward worldwide public relations calling for Saddam to be tried for war crimes. Funny how that thought never occurred to him. This war is very convenient for Bush and it's a win-win for him if he wins: a) politically he becomes champion; and, b) the people who support, the people who made him, make out lucratively from the oil booty.

Also, we, anyone who is capable of doing the research, would not be seeing so many examples of outright falsifications of fact, deletions of fact, misunderstandings of fact, obfuscastions of fact and allegations of no fact. I mean what more needs to be repudicated than what already has been repudicated both by experts and, importantly, by worldwide opinion?

Please do consider that this war was never meant to be.
