This means it will come after we liberate Iraq. If things go well, you won't hear a thing about it. If they don't, big outcry.

Turkey's Minister of State Ali Babacan declared in an AK Party meeting that the financial aid deal with the US is done

What's interesting about that is that I read the Turks approved a total of 62,000 troops to be based there.

Considerably more than previously believed. But I still believe the debate in Turkey has hurt US-Turkish relations over the short, to intermediate term. Bush won't forget this slight..
