Agreed, BBC news is excellent and more bablanced global coverage. We get it satellite 24/7.

BTW, while I don't subscribe to the War is about oil theory, I enjoyed this poster being carried by an anti war person that I saw on a TV review of demonstrations. The sign said " How did our oil get under their sand?" <gg>

Connie Chung, soon to depart CNN,

I wondered if she was going. I watched Channel 2 in LA for many years because of Bill Stout, and Chung broke in there as a "Major Media" Co-Anchor. They put Stout over to Radio, booze got to him. I think she was the first female there. I never liked her, but that could be just Male prejudice. This "Twofer preference," where companies get double counts for a female and a minority, started with her, I think.

I actually watch BBC news now which comes on our local NJ channel at 7pm

The Israeli bias should be pretty bad. Never watched them.
