Maybe, after the Enlightenment Deists win the BattleOfHeartsAndMinds against Islamism and Drugs, they'll take on the Mormons and Catholics. You could make a case, that there is something deeply UnEnlightened, with those TopDownEnforcement/heirarchical/misogynist Beliefs. Ought to be an epic battle. But I won't make that case, I won't go there, as it's OT and way too far OutsideTheBox. But it is an interesting idea. What gets defined as "pathological" is different, in every place and time. A variable, not a constant.
