TAKE YOUR PICK. your hero dr sears sat there on connie chung and told america that fast food restaurants are the best friend for his diet. he told people to take a chicken sandwich, tear it up and put it on your salad. as far as i can tell, every single chicken product mcdonalds sells contains hydrogenated vegetable oil, including the buns which dr sears told you to keep a quarter of and eat . so the point is, dr sears encourages the suckers who follow his diet to eat at fast food restaurants and to eat their poisonous food loaded with MSG, trans fatty acids, and all sorts of other chemicals. i never knew a simple piece of chicken at mcdonalds had to have 25 ingredients to it! dr sears tells people to eat six egg-white omelettes which must taste like shit with no yolks in it, and considering the majority of the nutrition in an egg is contained in the yolk, he is doing his followers a disservice as well. he is encouraging them to eat gross tasting egg whites and depriving them of critical nutrients they need. it's obvious why dr sears does what he does. he is more interested in selling books than telling people the proper way to eat. that's why he says you can eat anything on his diet, as long as it's in moderation. he tells people that fast food restaurants are the best friends to his dieters. he even listed them. he told you to go to burger king, mcdonalds, or wendy's. he pays athletes to endorse his diet, he got judith regan to pass out his garbage zone bars to hollywood stars so the zone would become cool in hollywood, and then she used her connections in the media to promote the hell out of him so she could make a bundle publishing his book. he tells people to avoid egg yolks and butter and saturated fats in meat because he knows by doing this he won't get as much criticism from the mainstream medical community--which would turn people off to his diet and sell fewer books. he is a coward. he knows he can't tell people to eat egg yolks, meat, lots of cheese, butter, etc. because his diet would look just like atkins. so he is really just a lame copycat of atkins, who in contrast has for 30 years been standing up to the mainstream medical community and telling them they are plain wrong. sears had to differentiate his diet from atkins somehow so he made it more palatable to people's sensibilities by taking the moderate approach. eat what you want in moderation, go to fast food restaurants and eat their poison, let's not alienate the mainstream media by telling people to eat a lot of saturated animal fats, egg yolks, etc.
