I think conviction is an emotion and is a part of what I meant when I spoke of it. Conviction is an informed emotion. The question is where did the information come from and is it valid.

I use the description " the opinion of the most informed".

Take a random 20 thousand with internet access and 20 without and I'd suggest the group with is certain to be more informed. More correctly informed also.
