I actually think the best time to buy options is close to the expiration. Premium has all but expired and if you get a nice max pain rally you can earn a very nice living in a day or two.

Yup, I have had my share of 4 baggers, but they are few and far between... That is the lure of options trading... I used to think that shorting options was a no no. But I have seen the light now that I have some decent historical data. But I still like to buy now and then.
