I think there is a backlash brewing, notice the public reaction to all these terror alerts now. I really do think most people understand that the best way to win wars is with a strong global economy. Thats what happened in Vietnam, we lost the battle and won the war. With Russia the economy won the war. We shouldn't toss the economy by the wayside to fight made-up wars. That is what eastern block countries used to do to their detriment.

Sure, ...there will be other wars inside the war on terrorism but then again your party already knows that. Where were you the day Daschle talked about it? Get with the program (the rest of your party has). It's going to be a long war over many presidential terms.
