But even if you're trying to remain flat you have personal psychology issues, like when you're used to being in the market at all times it's hard to make yourself stay out. There is a lot to be said for having the ability to be flat. To a certain extent we crave the action so all of our decisions aren't completely rational. Wall street doesn't like to talk about it but for most people the market is just a semi respectable casino. We have to count cards instead of roll craps in order to succeed. Easier said than done. Especially when it's pro's vs pro's like you said.
