Wrong. The fact is the world is divided about invading or attacking Iraq just as many Americans are now (and were on the eve of WWII). Just like a jury, everyone weighs the evidence for themselves...and there will always be differing opinions.

Hypocrisy? No, logic. An unarmed, unfunded, untrained and unwelcome terrorist is simply a less dangerous terrorist. I'm all for reducing terrorists to their bare knuckles as weapons--MK--

If fundamentalist Muslims take over Iraq I'd say tensions could heighten significantly.

Titov, while in control of Yugoslavia, was a dictator and had an ironclad grip on the population. After his death, the various polarized factions of the population had their hatred for each other rekindled. We all witnessed the aftermath as they brutalized each other at every opportunity.

Iraq's tribal factions also hate each other. When Saddam is removed a civil war could develop that might rival that which occurred with the unraveling of the Yugoslav states.
