So the Kitty Hawk is already there? And the Vinson, which is replacing the Kitty Hawk in Japan, is in Guam.

They must not be worried about North Korea after all.

And now the Nimitz is going to the Gulf.

When people argue, why is war inevitable, why can't they wait, they must not really keep up with the facts on the ground, or maybe don't understand the full implications.

You can't leave those boys stationed in those carriers indefinitely. Six months, a year, and then they start losing it. Not to mention the logistics. Bringing in fresh water, food, supplies.
