Finding a peaceful solution is not backing down. The only peaceful solution is the one that can't be implemented peacefully: regime change. If Saddam is forced into exile He SAID he won't go. He goes along with it as long as a gun is held to his head, then he can't quite seem to cooperate. How many times has just that happened recently? If THAT'S the answer, let's just launch now. but killing a bunch of innocent Iraqis might. And might not to. We killed a lot of German Nazis in WW2. How much trouble have they been since. Anyone who holds to the theory that force can't solve problems is an idiot. It seems like he's pretty contained right now. Oh yeah? Then why is it that he won't submit to REAL inspections? And, in response to the US turning up the pressure, AND ONLY TO THAT, new things keep getting "discovered"? He didn't give WMD to terrorist since the last Gulf War as far as we know. Yeah. As far as we know. These things are pretty anonymous. They don't come out of the bottle announcing who made them. With UN inspectors all over the place, it's doubtful he will develop WMD or give them to terrorists in the future. What's this "all over the place" crap? There are 1/30, count 'em, 1/30 as many as there were in the early '90s. And in the early '90s it took them YEARS to finally get the goods to prove he was making biological weapons. This is a total farce. Let me ask you a blunt question: Are you an Iraqi agent? I think this whole WMD issue is just being used as a cover to seize Iraq's oil. If THAT were the intent. why wasn't it down in '91 We had the army, navy, air force, and marines right there, the Iraqis were on the run, and there was no one to stop us. What about that? Are you so dedicated to "peace" that you will take it ANY cost? Have you no pride? And what about your fellow peaceniks on that other thread? Are they cowards to respond to the posts I put there?
